What Is a Home Inspection?
A home inspection is a visual examination of the accessible systems and components of a home, performed in accordance with Arizona State Standards of Practice and NACHI guidelines. The goal is to identify conditions that may need attention — so you can make an informed decision.
We inspect the roof, structure, foundation, heating and cooling systems, plumbing, electrical, attic, insulation, and more. After the inspection, you receive a detailed written report, typically delivered the same day.
We follow Arizona State Standards of Practice and NACHI guidelines — and we go beyond the minimum wherever we can.
A home inspection is a visual inspection only. We report on what we can see and access. Concealed conditions, areas blocked by personal property, and systems that are shut down at the time of inspection are outside the scope of the inspection. Please read your full report carefully — not just the summary.

A Husband-and-Wife Team
Owen & Associates is a family-owned, husband-and-wife business. Kristine Owen and her husband, Craig Owen, work together to provide personal service from the first phone call through the completion of the inspection.
Craig personally performs every inspection, while Kristine handles scheduling, client communication, and coordination throughout the inspection process. Together, they make sure each client receives personal attention from start to finish.
